This review focuses on M-Gen, a distinct application designed for the automatic composition of musical content, catering to a variety of users including content creators, music producers, game developers, music students, and enthusiasts. M-Gen allows users to easily generate music by simply tapping a red button. The compositions can be sent via email or stored on Google Drive in various formats:

 <li>The ability to generate melody, harmony, bassline, percussion, and effects tracks both separately and collectively</li>
 <li>Like/Dislike buttons during playback to facilitate real-time composition adjustments</li>
 <li>Customizable instrumental layers (up to 4 layers maximum; 8 for percussion)</li>
 <li>Options to select key, tempo, soundset, and style</li>
 <li>Structural customization using sections like chorus, verse, and middle-eight</li>
 <li>The capability to name and save up to five generated songs on the device for later playback</li>
</ul>

M-Gen also includes in-app purchase options that enhance its functionality:

 <li>Downloads Pack (one-off payment) - Enables users to send MP3, MIDI, and PDF files of generated music directly to their email accounts or Google Drive.</li>
 <li>Library Expansion (one-off payment) - Increases the storage capacity for songs within the M-Gen library.</li>
 <li>License Pack (subscription) - Grants licensing rights to use M-Gen compositions in personal projects with rights for commercial distribution.</li>

M-Gen employs advanced algorithms that continually evolve, providing users with a robust system for generating tonally and rhythmically harmonious music. The Setup Wizard streamlines configuration of song parameters while user feedback enhances future compositions.

MIDI tracks generated by M-Gen correspond to specific track numbers in DAW software:
